Who are we?
Michael Ehrenreich founded Ursa to help people acheive their dreams, big or small. He understands that starting a business requires a willful suspension of disbelief. There is no shortage of people who will tell you that you can’t do it or that it can’t be done, but Michael is there to help you turn dreams into destiny, visions into ventures, and doodles into devices.
Michael has been creating things for decades. From financial services to retail, from manufacturing to web sites, from medical practices to aspiring broadway musicals…he’s done a lot. He has a deep financial background, having worked on Wall Street for many years, founding the investment firm Techvest, where he was a noted investment analyst and banker, before selling to Rodman & Renshaw. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Yeshiva University, and is expert at financial modeling and forecasting, business development, capital raising….and dreaming! Michael also holds an M.A. in Biological Sciences from Columbia University, and an M.D. from Rutgers Medical School.
As an investment analyst, Michael’s superpower is getting quickly up to speed on new concepts. He enjoys all aspects of the value creation curve, but especially enjoys working with startups.
